GM LS1, LS2, LS3, LS7, LSA and LS9 V8 engines utilize front seals with Teflon inner sealing lips. For proper seal function and longevity it is critical that the seals be aligned perfectly concentric to the front diameter of the balancer hub sealing surface. This tool mimics the oil pan thus providing critical alignment of the oil pan and front cover. Designed to be used in conjunction with CBM front cover alignment tool.
