This oil pan was designed for the ever-increasing stroke demands with the aftermarket LS block. While still only 4.5″ deep from crank centerline it can handle the largest strokes found inside an LS engine.
Utilizes the stock oil pan gasket and no modifications are necessary to the block for the oil pump fitment, unlike our Daytona Prototype pan. This system, with the added turbo and valley scavenge sections, would typically be used in drag race applications.
System includes:
- Dailey Engineering 7-Stage dry sump oil pump.
- Dailey Engineering dry sump oil pan.
- HTD drive belt.
- HTD pump pulley assembly.
Note:
- Does NOT work with the factory motor mount.
- OEM A/C compressor will need to be relocated or removed.
- To install on an LS7 OEM dry sump engine the front cover and timing set will need to be converted to the LS2/LS3 wet sump style.
GM LS V8 style engines.
