HOOKER BLACKHEART 1967-69 F-BODY 1968-74 X-BODY LS SWAP TRANSMISSION CROSSMEMBER GM 4L80/4L85

Hooker LS engine swap transmission crossmembers are built to mount the transmission in place when switching to an LS engine. They are designed using CAD modeling/FEA analysis for optimal fitment, strength, weight, safety, and appearance.

The crossmembers are manufactured from high-strength, low-alloy steel and then black powder coated for maximum durability. They provide an engineered 3 to 3.5 degree engine/transmission inclination angle that is critical to obtaining suitable U-joint working angles.

They are designed to be used in conjunction with Hooker LS engine swap brackets to provide a bolt-in installation of Hooker LS swap manifolds, headers, and exhaust systems for this application.

• Facilitates installation of a 4L80/4L85 GM automatic transmission behind an LS engine in any year 1st-gen F-body or 3rd-gen X-body.

• Will install with either a stock rubber, or Prothane™ 7-1604 poly mount.
• Provides the highest clearance available for up to 3" exhaust system routing.
