The role of the adapter plate in a vehicle is to mate together your transmission to the engine or chassis. This allows them to work together in order to operate your vehicle as it should run. It generally appears as a plate of flat metal.

All CBM Motorsports transmission adapter plates are designed and CNC machined in house out of 6061-T6 aircraft grade billet aluminum.
