This harness and ECU are for a stock or nearly stock Gen II 2.4L Ecotec LE5 engine.
I.E. stock injectors, drive by wire throttle body, stock MAP sensor and so on. This is a speed density system so it does not require the use of a mass air flow sensor (it does use an O2 sensor). The controller is a MEFI™ 5 unit and is tuned for sequential fuel injection for easy starting, smooth running and great economy.
Please specify if you have a header installed or different intake system as this controller will ship with a performance tune for your engine (additional tuning charges may apply for outrageous engine combinations).
This unit comes with a pulse width modulated IAC, billet IAC insert, and billet bracket for a cable driven 2.2L throttle body.
What makes the MEFI™ 5 system unique is its ability to send and receive data via a CAN BUS system. It is able to relay direct digital signals to CAN BUS gauges or with the purchase of a MEFI™ Gateway you can display engine statistics on certain GPS' or other NMEA 2000 compatible devices.
This system will work with all 2.4L LE5 Ecotecs running the 58x reluctor wheel and individual coil packs and cable style throttle body. It will not work on a direct injected motor. This computer can be configured to run an electronic throttle body as well. It comes with a full diagram and labels all connectors. We will need to know what map sensor and alternator your engine runs as GM changed them for different applications.

CBM Motorsports™ electronic components and products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. If the any part does not meet the limited warranty criteria an RMA number will have to be initiated to set up an exchange or refund.
The part must be returned to CBM with an RMA number assigned to it, and if it is in acceptable condition, CBM will issue credit directly to the customer.
