Turbochargers
Like a centrifugal or roots-style supercharger, a turbocharger is a type of forced induction system, packing more air into the engine to create a more powerful combustion. While superchargers are mechanically connected to the crankshaft, a turbocharger’s turbine is spun by the flow of exhaust gases exiting the engine.
A supercharger might make more power, and a turbocharger doesn’t really start making more power until your rpm is high enough, but a turbo is more efficient. CBM Motorsports specialize in Precision Turbo and Engine LS turbochargers.
